Charity Projects 2014-15.



Shri Lalithambiga Trust - Charity Projects 2014-15.

1.Poor feeding (Annadhanam):

Every week the trust feeds at least 500 people on all Fridays and Sundays. On all Saturdays the volunteers of the trust visit the needy people where ever they are located like orphanages and Senior Citizens home and feed them with nutritious food. The same programme has been planned to increase the volume of the beneficiaries this year to the extent of 1000 people. 


2. Free Clothes:
This programme is to distribute suitable clothing to the tribal people as they suffer during winters and rainy seasons.

3. Educational Aids:
As like as the past years the trust plans to help the rural and tribal students for their education and higher studies. 

4. Value Based Education:
We will also promote Moral Globe 2020 the dream project of Pujya Sri Dr.Sri Jagannatha Swami to impart human values to students of Higher Elementary Schools. This year we have plans to visit tribal and less privileged villages to promote this project.

5. Medical Aids:
Under this scheme we help the needy who suffer from Diabetes, Heart and Kidney diseases. Free medical camps for rural people are conducted with the help of multi speciality hospitals.

6. CAN CURE PROJECT:
In the year 2013-14 the trust has donated to children who suffer from Cancer a sum of Rs.1.50 Lakhs through Ramakrishna Hospital, Coimbatore.




 In this New Year we need more funds to improve this project and save innocent children from this killing but curable disease.

7. Center for Cultural Studies:

The core philosophy of the center is to explore the true life of harmony and peace from the ancient truths of the Indian realization of the Ultimate Reality and with the consciousness of the modern age. The scope of research is broader to the extent of global understanding and contemporary issues. Students, social workers, spiritually inclined persons, thinkers and scholars of any field with a quest for knowledge and flair for research are requested to join this venture as a researcher, member, donor and sponsor. We conduct seminars and conferences to promote this center.
8. Free Library:
A free library is available at the service centre for the use of students and interested public at free of cost. This library is presently having 2500 books in Tamil and English of various subjects. We invite people who are willing to donate used are new books to the library. We need Xerox machines, scanner and computers to improve the facility.


DHANYA HOME FOR SENIOR CITIZENS AND MANASVINI
HOME FOR MENTALLY AFFECTED CHILDREN

The trust has purchased 1.29 acres of land at Periya Thadagam village for the purpose of building a comfortable home for Senior citizens and mentally affected children.  The building work was started early in the previous year and now the construction is in progress. The estimated project cost is Rs.2.50 Crores and the First phase is about 50 lakhs. We request  well wishers to donate generously towards this noble cause.

Sponsor Programme: Interested persons can sponsor a room to accommodate 2 Senior citizens and the cost will be 10.00 Lakhs.
Manasvini building donation slot is Rs.1,00,000/- per child.
Donor Inmates Programme:
Those who are willing to donate Rs.10.00 lakhs as one time donation and occupy a room of 200 sqft can become an associate in this project. The building is expected to be completed by 2015 January. Food will be provided free of cost in the ashram for all inmates.

favour of Shri Lalithambiga Trust.

3. Preference will be given in appointments with Swamiji for
consultation/dharshan of Sri Lalithambikai Amman/Prayers/celebrations and
programmes.

4. Life members are blessed to stay in Sri Lalithambika Ashram for
two days every year. The accommodation and food is free for two family
members. This facility will not be available during the festival days.

Patron:
The Patron member donation is Rs.5,00,000/-

1. Patrons will get a free copy of all our publications and special payable
courses and programmes .

2. You will receive free New Letter and all invitations.

3. Preference will be given in appointments with Swamiji for
consultation/dharshan of Sri Lalithambikai Amman/Prayers/celebrations and
programmes.

4. Life members are blessed to stay in Sri Lalithambika Ashram for
three days every year. The accommodation and food is free for 4-5 family
members. This facility is also available during the festival days.



Terms and Conditions:
1. The Associate/Life/Patron memberships are created only to improve our
service in a better manner. The donors are free to suggest and render
support towards the progress of our mission.
2. Any membership will not have any rights in the administration, decisions
and policies of the Board of trustees /trust.
3. Any membership is not the part of the board of trustees and no way
related with the activities/office of the trust.
4. The payment paid will not be refunded on any cause as the funds will be
utilized to the charity projects of the trust immediately.

Leelavathy Sampathkumar, Managing Trustee, Shri Lalithambiga Trust presents the cheque for RUPEES ONE LAKH  to Dr.Guhan, Head of the Cancer Department, Sri Ramakrishna Care Cancer Hospital, Coimbatore towards donation for the treatment of a cancer patient Master Tamilselvan aged 14 on 30th April 2013.             Shri Lalithambiga Trust is a public charitable trust devoted towards social welfare since 1997. In the past years of activity it has extended its dedicated service in providing poor feeding, medical aids and educational assistance to the under privileged sector.
Shri Lalithambiga Trust  announces the “Can Cure Fund” organized in view of helping the cancer patients from the year 2013. The trust is intended to take steps to identify the cancer patients who are struggling for treatments due to their poor financial background, with the association of renowned cancer institutions and work towards reducing cancer mortality by way of providing financial supports for treatments.

We are thankful to Dr.Bharati, Chennai who has initiated the commencement of Can Cure Fund project with her generous contribution of funds. Now we appeal to the kind hearted philanthropists to extend their donations for the successful progress of the charity. An Appeal

An Appeal for the upcoming projects of
Shri Lalithambiga Trust



Shri Lalithambika Trust is a public charitable trust devoted towards social welfare since 1997. In the past years of activity it has extended its dedicated service in providing poor feeding, medical aids and educational assistance to the under privileged sector. Sri Lalithambikai Amman Temple was built in the year 2000 and the Kumbabishekam was performed by His Holiness Pujya Sri Dhayanandha Swamiji, Arsha Vidya Gurukulam and was blessed by His Holiness Santahlinga Ramaswami Adikallar of Perur Mutt.The temple is well maintained with the dedicated service of Pujya Sri Jagannatha Swami. The temple and meditation centre are located at the foot hills of Anuvavi a place of natural beauty, peace and healing breeze. It is attracting many people who seek peace and serenity.

Recently the trust has started an institution namely Centre for Cultural Studies for promoting free lance research in Indian philosophy, religion and culture and publishing books and research papers. Various seminars and conferences have been conducted.


In view of the completion of the twelfth year of the temple a Kumbabishekam ceremony was celeberated on  6th February 2012.

His Hoilness Pujya Sri Dhayanandha Swamiji presided over the function and blessed the occassion with his words of wisdom and grace.






Shri Lalithambiga Trust has  started the following new projects during this sacred occasion.

1. Sri Lalithambika Chaathraalayaa:

Chaathraalayaa is a centre that will provide free food, dress and shelter
for the needy children along with school education. Eligible students of
age group from 7 to 14 can be accommodated in this house. The centre
will provide transportation for the students to go to their school for
learning. Play grounds and recreations will entertain the children with
good physical and mental health. Yoga, meditation and value education
will be imparted.


2. Dhanya:

Dhanya is the hom
e for senior citizens that will take care of their peaceful
and healthy life. Dhanya will form special self help groups, prayer groups and
social service groups with its inmates.


3. Sri Lalithambika Community College:

The college is to provide free vocational training to the rural
people to improve their knowledge and economical status.


4. Manasvini:

The centre will concentrate in providing mental wellness and special
attention to children with psychological and learning disorders.


5. Sri Vidya Wellness Centre:

This centre will render health services, yoga and meditation
programmes.


6. Sri Lalithambika Tapovan:

The Mother Goddess Sri Lalithambika is in a state of penance and meditation and it is a great blessing to meditate under the lotus feet of Devi. Sri Lalithambika Tapovan will provide shelters and learning facility for the seekers of ultimate realization in the path of Vedanta and Sri Vidya.



An Appeal:The trustees of Shri Lalithambiga Trust humbly appeal the philanthropists to extend their support by way of donations in the form of cash, land, building materials, furniture, fixed deposits, shares and debentures. The donors will be allowed for a free stay at the Tapovan for three days in a year.All names of donors who support the mission with a contribution of 1 Lakh and above will be inscribed in the reception and will be regarded as Life Time

 Donors will be given special Astrological Life Counselling by Pujya Sri Jagannatha Swami. We request all our well wishers,
philanthropists,donors, patrons, students who have received Sri Vidya Dheeksha or learnt  Vedic Astrology from Pujya Sri Jagannatha Swami and one and all to support the sacred mission.

Annadhanam ( One meal a day  for 100 persons) Rs.1500/-
Saswatha puja every year on your specific days (Deposit) Rs.5000/-
